Overview
Bored Teachers is a stand-up comedy show presented under the name of the act. In stand-up, a performer speaks directly to the audience, and the evening rests on the writing and timing of each joke. The title suggests a comic take on the teaching profession, which gives the show a clear theme from the start.
The show takes place at George Van Dusen Theatre at North Shore Center, a venue in Skokie that hosts concerts and shows. This comedy evening is one of its live events, so it sits alongside the center's other performances.
Anyone drawn to comedy built around the classroom and its everyday routines will find the subject clear from the title alone.
