Little Feat

Little Feat is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1969, performing at the George Van Dusen Theatre at North Shore Center in Skokie.

Little Feat formed in Los Angeles in 1969 around singer and guitarist Lowell George, with keyboardist Bill Payne, bassist Roy Estrada and drummer Richie Hayward. The band blends rock with blues, New Orleans rhythms and country-tinged roots music. Its self-titled debut album was produced by Frank Zappa, a link to George's earlier years with the Mothers of Invention.

Key records include Dixie Chicken (1973), Feats Don't Fail Me Now (1974) and the live album Waiting for Columbus (1978). Songs such as "Willin'," "Dixie Chicken" and "Fat Man in the Bathtub" are among the band's most cited tracks. Lowell George died in 1979, and the group later reformed and kept performing.

The concerts take place at the George Van Dusen Theatre, a venue at North Shore Center in Skokie that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who follow American rock and roots music from the 1970s onward.
