C+C Music Factory

C+C Music Factory, the New York dance act formed in 1989 around producers Robert Clivillés and David Cole, performs a concert at The Railhead in Las Vegas.

C+C Music Factory is an American dance group formed in New York in 1989 by producers Robert Clivillés and David Cole, whose initials gave the project its name. Its music blends house-based club rhythms with R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae influences. The best-known records include "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" and "Things That Make You Go Hmmm...", both from 1990, and "Here We Go (Let's Rock & Roll)" from 1991. Rapper Freedom Williams is among the act's most recognized names from that period.

The act's recordings rely on layered vocals, rap verses and upbeat grooves built for the dance floor, so the repertoire centers on these hits from the early 1990s. The live show is aimed at listeners who know that catalogue and the dance-pop era it helped define.

The Railhead is the concert and show room at Boulder Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, which hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The night suits fans of 1990s dance music and of the funk and soul traditions behind it.
