Chicago Music Nexus 2026

Chicago Music Nexus 2026 is an electronic music event in Chicago, and the name also serves as the act credited for the night. Electronic music covers genres built on synthesizers, drum machines and computer-based production, with roots in 1970s synthesizer experiments and disco-era dance production. Its subgenres range from ambient and downtempo listening music to styles made for the dance floor.

Chicago is the city where house music emerged in the early 1980s, taking its name from The Warehouse, a club where DJs developed the style. The night suits listeners interested in electronic music and the city's role in its history.
