A stand-up comedy show in Chicago, presented at Color Club, a venue that hosts concerts and shows. It is a live evening of jokes and routines built around spoken humor.

Color Club Comedy is a stand-up and comedy show, a live format in which a comedian delivers jokes, stories and observations directly to the audience. The title places the evening at Color Club, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows.

Stand-up is built on a sequence of routines rather than a scripted plot, and each performance takes its rhythm from the reactions of the room. For anyone who wants an evening of live comedy in Chicago, this is a direct option: the night is built around spoken humor from start to finish.

Stand-up has a long history in American clubs, and the format stays the same: a performer, an audience and jokes that land or do not.
