Diaspora Duos

A world music performance by Diaspora Duos at Color Club in Chicago, part of the venue's concert and show programming.

Diaspora Duos is a world music act, a genre that brings together traditional and contemporary styles from many regions of the world, often blending local melodies, rhythms and instruments with other musical languages. Artists in this genre often draw on folk, classical and popular forms, so listeners can hear how different traditions meet in a single performance. This concert presents the project in Chicago as a live performance within that tradition.

Color Club hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this evening places the act in a venue dedicated to live performance, suited to listeners interested in world music who want to discover artists working across cultural traditions.
