Eivør

Eivør, a Faroese singer and songwriter active since 1999, performs in San Francisco at August Hall, with midori jaeger also on the bill. The concert brings together two acts from different corners of the pop, rock and indie scene.

Eivør is a Faroese singer from Syðrugøta, born in 1983, and active since 1999. Their music moves between folk, rock and country, and the artist is signed to Tutl. The self-titled debut album, released in 2000, is the earliest release in this profile and a clear starting point for anyone new to the act.

The style is pop, rock and indie, and the bill also names midori jaeger alongside Eivør. Both acts are listed for this performance in San Francisco.

August Hall hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco, and this concert takes place there on this visit to the city. The evening suits listeners who follow Faroese songwriting and the folk-leaning side of Eivør's catalog, as well as those drawn to the rock and indie sounds in the genre.
