etc radio

etc radio is an electronic music night in Chicago, with m50, Skwirl and Trash Panda QC on the bill. Electronic music is built on synthesizers, drum machines, samples and computer-based production, and its sets are usually structured around rhythm and texture rather than verse-and-chorus songs.

For listeners who follow the genre, the evening offers three performers in one program. m50, Skwirl and Trash Panda QC each present their own work under their own names, so the night gives a direct comparison of three separate artists working within electronic music.

The program suits anyone who wants several electronic acts on one evening in Chicago, and it is a practical choice for those who prefer to hear more than one performer without planning separate outings.
