Gilla Band is an Irish post-punk rock band from Dublin, formed in 2011. The group released its debut album, Holding Hands with Jamie, in 2015, and its music draws on post-punk and indie rock, the two strands that run through its recorded work.

Annie-Claude Deschênes is also named among the artists for this concert, so the evening brings together two artists on one bill. Gilla Band's set is the focus of the night, and listeners can hear the band's post-punk sound in a live setting in Washington, D.C.

The Atlantis is a Washington venue that hosts concerts and shows. The night suits listeners who follow post-punk and indie rock, and anyone new to the band can start with Holding Hands with Jamie, the debut album that introduced the group's sound.
