Gus Dapperton

Gus Dapperton is an American singer-songwriter working in pop music, born in Warwick. The debut album, Where Polly People Go to Read, came out in 2019 on the label AWAL, and it is the first release in a catalog that sits across pop, rock and indie.

The Independent hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco. This date brings Gus Dapperton to the venue during a visit to the city, so the evening centers on the songwriting and recordings rather than a larger theatrical production.

The night suits listeners who follow indie-leaning pop songwriting and want to hear the material live, especially those already familiar with Where Polly People Go to Read. Anyone new to the project can use the album as a reference point before the show.
