Kate Nash

Kate Nash, an English singer-songwriter from London, brings pop, rock and indie songs to Swedish American Hall in San Francisco. The show is part of the artist's visit to the city.

Kate Nash is an English singer-songwriter from London whose music blends pop, rock and indie. Emerging around 2007 through MySpace, Nash released the debut album Made of Bricks that year, which reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, with singles including "Foundations" and "Mouthwash". The follow-up, My Best Friend Is You, came out in 2010, and the songwriting has continued across later records, including Girl Talk, released in 2018.

The songs center on Nash's vocals and lyrics, which move between sharp observation and conversational, personal detail. The evening suits listeners who followed the British indie-pop wave of the late 2000s or know the early singles and want to hear how the catalog has developed since.

Swedish American Hall is a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this booking places Kate Nash on its stage during this visit to the city.
