KatzPascale w

A concert by the duo KatzPascale, who pair cello and saxophone with vocals, with ridgeclub, a Toronto saxophonist who works in psychedelic jazz. The show is seated in the round.

KatzPascale is a duo whose core instruments are cello and saxophone, extended with vocals and a wider range of instrumentation. The two musicians met while working as session players in New York, where they discovered a common interest in classical and experimental music, as well as in the work of 2hollis, Addison Rae and Imogen Heap. They soon formed KatzPascale, and their debut EP is titled ELEGY.

Their live shows have built a growing following largely through word of mouth, drawing listeners who are looking for something different. This concert is seated in the round, and the venue, Epiphany Center for the Arts, hosts concerts and shows in Chicago. The event takes place in its Epiphany Hall.

ridgeclub, a saxophonist from Toronto, Canada, joins the bill. The project creates psychedelic jazz by layering the saxophone through multiple analog and digital effects.
