Le Vent Du Nord is a band from Quebec, formed in Montreal in 2002. Its music draws on the traditions of Québécois music, the folk repertoire of the province, and Celtic folk, combining the two into a single body of acoustic folk music.

The band's identity rests on this blend of Québécois traditional music and Celtic folk. Its concerts present that repertoire to audiences who follow folk and traditional music from Quebec and the Celtic world, and the group is a useful reference for anyone wanting to hear how these two traditions meet on stage.

The show is held at the Somerville Theatre, a venue hosting concerts and shows in Somerville, just outside Boston. The evening suits listeners interested in traditional Québécois music and Celtic folk, and in the work of a band that has been building this repertoire since its formation in 2002.
