Mac DeMarco

Mac DeMarco performs at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, presenting the work of the Canadian multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and producer.

Mac DeMarco is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and producer, born in 1990 in Duncan. Active since 2008, the artist works in psychedelic rock, psychedelic pop and neo-psychedelia, a blend that runs through a catalog built around guitar-led songs and home-studio production. The first solo album, titled 2, was released in 2012 and marked the start of the solo project under this name.

The concert is a chance to hear this psychedelic and pop-leaning repertoire performed by the artist, who plays several instruments and writes and produces the material. The evening suits listeners who follow indie rock and psychedelic pop and want to hear songs from a songwriter who handles most of the creative work himself.
