Montell Fish - The Nest Tour

Montell Fish performs The Nest Tour at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, a program built on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae. The project is led by an American musician with a pop rock debut album.

Montell Fish is an American musician born in Pittsburgh in 1997. The first album, « As We Walk into Forever », was released in 2016 and sits in a pop rock register, while The Nest Tour is framed around R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, so the stage material differs from that debut in style.

The concert takes place at the Castro Theatre, a venue in the Castro district that hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco. Its programming covers live music and performance, so the room suits audiences who attend shows as well as concerts.

The evening is best suited to listeners who follow contemporary R&B and soul, or who want to hear how funk, gospel and reggae sit alongside one another in one program. Those who know only the 2016 album should expect a different sound from the one on that record.
