Nervosa

Nervosa is a Brazilian band formed in São Paulo in 2010. Its sound combines thrash metal and death metal, two closely linked genres within heavy metal, which places the group in the hard rock and metal field. Thrash is defined by fast tempos and driving riffs, while death metal adds guttural vocals and denser textures.

Thrash metal grew out of the early 1980s heavy metal scene, and death metal developed from it later in the decade. Nervosa draws on both, so its music moves between fast, aggressive riffing and heavier, low-register vocals.

Whisky A Go Go, in West Hollywood, hosts concerts and shows. This booking places the band on that stage, and the evening suits listeners who follow Brazilian thrash and death metal.
