Pete Tong

A DJ, producer and radio presenter from England, Pete Tong brings electronic dance music to a night at Halcyon in San Francisco.

Pete Tong is an English DJ, producer and radio presenter whose career in dance music spans several decades. The long-running BBC Radio 1 program The Essential Selection has been a major showcase for house and club music, and the name is closely tied to the Ibiza club scene.

On stage, Pete Tong performs as a DJ, mixing electronic dance tracks in continuous sequences. In this genre, the choice of records and the transitions between them form the core of the performance, so the evening centers on the DJ's selection rather than a band line-up.

Halcyon is a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows. This night suits listeners who follow house and electronic dance music and want to hear a DJ with a long broadcast and club background in the city.
