Poizon'Us

A hard rock and metal evening at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, where the Australian POISON tribute Poizon'Us shares the bill with Vinyl Cats. The night is built around the music of Poison, the 1980s glam metal band.

Poizon'Us is a tribute act dedicated to Poison, the glam metal band formed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1983. Presented as the Australian POISON Tribute, the project honors the original band's catalog and is not Poison itself. Poison's best-known records include Look What the Cat Dragged In (1986), Open Up and Say... Ahh! (1988) and Flesh & Blood (1990), and its hits "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "Nothing but a Good Time" remain among the band's most recognized songs.

Vinyl Cats also performs on the bill, which places the evening in hard rock and metal programming. The night suits listeners who follow the melodic, guitar-driven sound of 1980s American hard rock.

Whisky A Go Go is a club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, a venue that hosts concerts and shows. Its location on the Strip places it among the best-known rock clubs in Los Angeles.
