Sammy Kershaw

Sammy Kershaw performs at The Showroom at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, bringing a blues, country and folk program to the stage. The act is a country singer with Louisiana roots.

Sammy Kershaw is a country singer whose work draws on blues and folk traditions alongside the honky-tonk sound of Southern country music. Kershaw emerged in the early 1990s with a run of country hits on Mercury Records, including the singles "Queen of My Double Wide Trailer" and "Yard Sale," which helped establish a storytelling style built on working-class characters and everyday detail.

The music suits listeners who follow traditional country, with a focus on lyrics, vocal delivery and roots-based arrangements. The Showroom at the Golden Nugget hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas, and this evening is a concert in that room, suited to fans of classic country and Southern roots music who want to hear Kershaw's catalog performed live.
