SIDEBAR Supper Club w/ SOUL MESSAGE BAND

A live night in Berwyn with the Soul Message Band, presented as a SIDEBAR Supper Club evening at Fitzgeralds Sidebar, drawing on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae.

The Soul Message Band performs music that spans R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae. The genres in this bill range from the rhythmic grooves of funk and the vocal harmonies of soul and gospel to the offbeat pulse of reggae, which originated in Jamaica. The evening is billed as a SIDEBAR Supper Club night, so the title itself frames the show as a dinner-style gathering with the band as the featured act.

Fitzgeralds Sidebar is a venue in Berwyn, a suburb west of Chicago, that hosts concerts and shows. The room is the setting for this performance, and the program suits listeners who follow soul, funk, gospel and reggae and want to hear those styles performed live.
