Simple Songs

A classical concert on which the National Symphony Orchestra shares the program with Simple Songs, staged at Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C.

The National Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1931, is the resident orchestra of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and performs a broad repertoire of symphonic music from the classical tradition. On this bill it shares the program with Simple Songs, another classical act, so the evening is built around two classical acts.

Lisner Auditorium, on the George Washington University campus, hosts concerts and shows throughout the year in Washington. It suits listeners who follow orchestral and classical programming and want to hear a symphony orchestra in a university hall rather than at the Kennedy Center, the orchestra's usual home in Washington.
