Blade Runner Live

Blade Runner Live is a concert performance of the music from Ridley Scott's 1982 science-fiction film Blade Runner, presented with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra at Capital One Hall in Tysons.

The program centers on the score of Blade Runner, the 1982 film directed by Ridley Scott. The soundtrack was composed by Vangelis, and its synthesizer-based textures and melancholic themes are among the most recognized film scores of the 1980s. In this concert, the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra performs that music live, bringing the sound of a symphonic ensemble to a score originally built largely on electronic instruments.

The concert suits listeners who know the film and its atmosphere of futuristic noir, as well as film-music fans interested in hearing the score performed by an orchestra. Capital One Hall, located in Tysons, hosts concerts and shows, and this event places the film's music within that programming.
