Sister Nancy & The Fully Fullwood Band

Sister Nancy and The Fully Fullwood Band present a joint concert at The Bellwether in Los Angeles, combining reggae deejaying with R&B, soul, funk and gospel.

Sister Nancy is a Jamaican deejay whose 1982 single "Bam Bam" is a well-known reference in reggae and dancehall. The Fully Fullwood Band plays a repertoire drawn from R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, so the joint program connects deejay-based reggae with several Black popular music traditions. Mysta Crooks is also among the artists named for this evening.

The Bellwether hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. The bill suits listeners who follow reggae and dancehall alongside soul and funk, and the title presents Sister Nancy and The Fully Fullwood Band together, so the evening is built around the collaboration between the two acts.
