Swimming Paul

Swimming Paul is an electronic act performing at Radius in Chicago, a venue that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year.

Swimming Paul is an electronic act, and this Chicago date places its music in a live setting at Radius. The genre grew out of dance music and studio experimentation in the late twentieth century, and it is built on synthesizers, drum machines and programmed sound, a palette central to much of its output.

Radius hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, so this date sits within the city's live music calendar. The night is aimed at listeners who follow electronic music and want to hear Swimming Paul perform in the city on this visit.

For those who know the act's recorded work, a concert shows how those productions translate to a stage, with the electronic sound heard in a live room rather than through headphones or speakers at home.
