TeeDee

An electronic music performance by TeeDee at Spybar in Chicago, presented in the venue's program of concerts and shows.

Electronic music is built on synthesizers, drum machines, and computer-based sequencing, which shape rhythm and texture. The style draws on dance-floor traditions such as house and techno, as well as ambient and experimental work, and many current performers combine live playing with pre-produced material. TeeDee performs in this idiom.

This concert takes place at Spybar, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, so the evening offers a live presentation of the act's electronic work in the city. The night suits listeners who follow electronic music and want to hear the style performed live.

Chicago is widely associated with the origins of house music, so electronic programming has deep roots in the city.
