The Messenger Birds is a band working across pop, rock and indie, and this concert brings the act to Chicago on this visit. Those three styles frame the music, so listeners who follow any of them have a clear reference point before deciding whether to attend.

Reggies Music Joint is a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, so this is a live music evening rather than a theater or exhibition program. The night suits fans of pop, rock and indie who want to see a band perform in person in the city. The concert is a chance to hear the band live in Chicago, which is the most direct way to judge the material.
