Three Dog Night

Three Dog Night, the American rock band, performs in concert at the Westgate Las Vegas International Theater in Las Vegas. The evening centers on the group's catalog of rock and pop hits.

Three Dog Night is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1968. Its first album, the self-titled "Three Dog Night," was released that same year on Columbia Records. The group built its sound around three lead vocalists, among them Chuck Negron, Cory Wells and Danny Hutton, which gave its records a range of voices that few bands of its era shared.

The band's best-known hit is "Joy to the World," written by Hoyt Axton, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Other songs that became staples of American radio include "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)" and "Eli's Coming," both drawn from the group's run of early 1970s albums. Their music sits between hard rock, pop and soul, and it has remained a reference point for classic rock audiences.

The Westgate Las Vegas International Theater hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas. The night suits listeners who follow American rock from the late 1960s and early 1970s and want to hear the songs that defined the band's career on stage.
