Tune-Yards

Tune-Yards at Outset

Tune-Yards is an indie pop project built around layered vocals, looped sounds and percussion, mixing pop with experimental and folk-based influences. Its best-known records are w h o k i l l (2011) and Nikki Nack (2014), both released on the label 4AD. Across these albums, the songs rely heavily on rhythm and stacked vocal parts.

Live, the project's sound rests on the same looped vocals and rhythmic layering as its records. Rituals of Mine is also on the bill, and the evening suits listeners interested in indie pop and experimental songwriting.

Outset hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this booking places Tune-Yards on its stage alongside Rituals of Mine.
