Ub40

UB40 is a British band formed in Birmingham in 1978, and this concert brings its reggae-based sound to Hard Rock Live Orlando. The show is aimed at listeners who follow reggae and pop.

UB40 was formed in Birmingham in 1978, and its music blends pop, reggae and dub. The band took its name from the UB40 form issued for unemployment benefit in the United Kingdom, and its debut album, Signing Off, came out in 1980. Ali Campbell and Robin Campbell are among the group's key members, and the band's sound also draws on soul, funk and gospel.

The band's best-known recordings include "Red Red Wine," a reggae treatment of a song by Neil Diamond that became a major hit for UB40 in 1983, and "Can't Help Falling in Love," a reggae version of the Elvis Presley ballad that the group released in 1993. Both songs show the reggae rhythms and melodic pop writing that define the band's catalog.

The concert takes place at Hard Rock Live Orlando, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Orlando. The night will appeal most to fans of reggae, dub and the pop-leaning songs that have carried UB40 through several decades.
