Vio-lence

A concert by Vio-lence, the metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area, at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood. The evening is built around this one act.

Vio-lence is a metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area, formed in the 1980s and part of the American thrash scene of that decade. Its best-known records include Eternal Nightmare (1988) and Oppressing the Masses (1990), both released in the years when the band was building its reputation on the West Coast.

The band plays hard rock and metal, and this date is aimed at fans of heavy guitar music who want to see the group perform in a club setting. The evening centers on Vio-lence alone, so the night follows the band's own stage and set rather than a shared bill.

Whisky A Go Go hosts concerts and shows in West Hollywood, on the Sunset Strip. The venue is one of the best-known rock clubs in Los Angeles, and this performance is a good fit for listeners who follow metal from the 1980s and 1990s and want to hear it played live on this visit to the city.
