Ayra Starr: Starrgirl World Tour

Ayra Starr, the Beninese singer whose music blends Afro-pop, Alté and contemporary R&B, brings the Starrgirl World Tour to London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.

Ayra Starr is a singer born in 2002 in Cotonou, Benin, and active since 2018. Their music draws on Afro-pop, Alté and contemporary R&B. The artist signed with Republic Records and released the album 19 & Dangerous in 2021, which is the best-documented point of reference for their recorded work. The Starrgirl World Tour takes the project to several dates, and this London show is one of them.

The context does not give details of the live line-up, the instrumentation or the repertoire played on this tour, so nothing further can be said about how the performance is staged. What is known is that the concert is presented under the name of the tour rather than as a special event.

The night suits listeners who follow contemporary African pop and R&B. O2 Shepherds Bush Empire is a London concert venue that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year, and it is the setting for this performance.
