Cloud Chamber: Gavin Greenaway + Caroline Dale

Cloud Chamber is a London duo of cellist Caroline Dale and pianist Gavin Greenaway, presenting a live evening of cinematic, narrative-led music at Hootananny Brixton.

Cloud Chamber brings together Caroline Dale on cello and Gavin Greenaway on piano, both described as sought-after studio musicians in London. Greenaway is an English film music composer, arranger, performer and producer, who wrote the soundtrack for the show Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Disney's Epcot park and released Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams in 2004.

The duo draw on years of work in film music, combining melodies, rich harmonies and delicate textures in their playing. Their debut album, Skylines, reached the UK Classical Albums Chart, and the music is built around a sense of narrative and atmosphere, with classical instrumentation at its core.

Hootananny Brixton hosts concerts and shows in London, and this evening places the two musicians in a live setting for audiences interested in film-influenced classical music.
