Eddy Hare: Work in Progress

A work-in-progress stand-up show by Eddy Hare at Camden Comedy Club in London, where the material is shaped in front of the audience. It combines observational comedy with crowd work.

Eddy Hare presents a stand-up show that is still being developed, so the material is tested and reshaped in front of the audience. Its subjects include the appeal of a shaven head and observations about nosiness, the kind of close attention to other people's business that often drives comedy.

Audience interaction plays a large part. Through crowd work, people in the room can become part of the exchange, and the comedy takes shape as the evening unfolds. Expect a live, conversational evening rather than a polished, finished piece.

Camden Comedy Club is a theatre in Camden, north London. Hare has been nominated for a BBC New Comedy Award and has been heard on Radio 4, with television appearances on BBC One and U&Dave.
