Overview
A weekly stand-up comedy night at Big Belly Bar & Comedy Club London, on Stamford Street in Southwark, where a free shot is included with the ticket.
Wednesday Night Comedy is a stand-up and comedy show, a regular evening of live comedy performed by a line-up of comedians on the club's stage. Each show combines short sets, with the emphasis on spoken humour and the immediacy of a live audience, rather than a scripted play.
The evening takes place at Big Belly Bar & Comedy Club London, a theatre at Unit 6 & 7, 30 Stamford Street, in the SE1 postcode area of London. Because the club operates as a bar as well as a comedy venue, the programme suits those looking for a relaxed night out with a drink, and the free shot offered with the ticket is part of the package.
The format suits anyone who enjoys stand-up and wants a sociable, straightforward evening out in central London, without a long commitment or a formal dress code. It is a practical choice for a group outing or a midweek night out.
