Angel Comedy Social Club

A weekly stand-up comedy night at The Bill Murray in London, run by Angel Comedy Social Club, mixing established comics, newer acts and occasional well-known television faces.

Angel Comedy Social Club is a stand-up and comedy night held on Wednesdays at The Bill Murray. The organisers say the evening aims to bring together some of the strongest comedy acts, a friendly audience and a mix of new performers, longer-standing favourites and, on some occasions, a television personality.

The line-up is therefore varied from week to week: the programme combines acts who are appearing for the first time at the venue with more experienced comedians. The material describes the evening as a sociable, relaxed night built around the comedy rather than a formal theatre production, so the emphasis is on stand-up performances in a club setting.

The listing names Barry Ferns among the people linked to the show. The Bill Murray is a venue in London that hosts concerts and shows. Latecomers are not admitted once the performance has begun, so it is worth arriving in good time.
