Ballet Black 25

Ballet Black 25 is a dance show presented at Sadler's Wells in London by the company Ballet Black, marking the company's 25th year. It is a programme of contemporary and classical dance work for the stage.

Ballet Black is a dance company founded to create opportunities for Black and Asian dancers in ballet. This show, titled Ballet Black 25, celebrates the company's twenty-fifth year and is presented as a dance performance at Sadler's Wells, a London venue that hosts concerts and shows across a range of forms.

As a dance show, the evening is built around the company's dancers on stage rather than around spoken text or a single narrative, so the experience is primarily visual and physical. Audiences attending a dance programme can expect movement-led pieces performed live in the auditorium, with the emphasis on the dancers and the choreography.

The show will appeal to those following ballet and contemporary dance, and to anyone interested in the work of a company that has spent a quarter of a century widening access to the art form. The details of the programme, the running time and the performance dates are shown on the page.
