El Profesor Briceño

Jose Briceno at 229

Professor Briceño will take to the stage with his original concept, inspired by his observations of the seemingly perfect lives of his social media neighbours. He has concluded that being both good and healthy is almost impossible.

The show, titled Bueno y Sano (Good and Healthy), will cover everything from evangelical rituals to astrological predictions, as well as the followers of the latest guru and eccentric characters such as the man who walks around barefoot in shorts eating raw meat.

Drawing on his own experience, Professor Briceño admits to having deleted the synopsis of this show 32 times and invites us to laugh at digital life. This is the life that only shows us the pretty side, but the reality is quite different. After all, one cannot be good when screens fill us with envy. "Not because of the staged lives we all invent, but because of those everyday things nobody shows, like taking a bath with a little toe or revealing our most intimate secrets."
