Overview
A stand-up comedy evening in Covent Garden, hosted by a compère who introduces professional comedians in turn. It takes place at JK Comedy Club, a theatre in central London.
This is a Friday night of live stand-up, in which a host guides the audience through a succession of professional comedians performing their routines. The bill is made up of working comics rather than a single headliner, so the evening moves from one performer to the next.
Earlier nights have included comedians who have appeared on Taskmaster, in Live at the Apollo and on Netflix, giving a sense of the calibre of the performers booked. Seating is unreserved, so arriving ahead of the start gives the widest choice of places in the room.
The venue, JK Comedy Club Covent Garden, is a theatre in the Arboretum complex in the heart of the West End. The evening will appeal to anyone who wants an evening of live comedy in central London, with a host and a rotating group of stand-up performers.
