Murder

An improvised comedy murder mystery in which the plot is built live on stage from suggestions made by the audience. Each show is presented as a new whodunnit played out in the Duchess Theatre in London.

Murder is a stand-up and comedy show that combines improvisation with the classic detective story. The material describes it as inspired by Agatha Christie, with the audience supplying the suggestions that shape each new whodunnit created live on stage. Audience members are invited to steer the twists and to try to work out who the killer is before the reveal.

The listing gives examples of the kind of scenarios that may arise, such as a crime at a swimming gala, a hot air balloon or a reality dating programme, though the story itself is improvised and differs from one performance to the next. The source presents the production as fast-paced and comic, with each performance being a separate, unscripted mystery.

The show is aimed at those who enjoy playful whodunnits and audience participation. It takes place at the Duchess Theatre, which the venue summary describes as a London host for concerts and shows.
