Overview
Saturday Afternoon Comedy is a stand-up show in which a host introduces a line-up of professional comedians, each performing in turn. Past editions have featured performers known from television series such as Taskmaster and Live at the Apollo, as well as from Netflix.
Seating is unreserved, so the choice of places depends on when audience members arrive. The line-up can change at short notice, for instance because of illness or television filming, so the comedians on the bill may differ from those advertised.
The show takes place at JK Comedy Club Covent Garden, a London venue that hosts concerts and shows, and is aimed at audiences looking for an afternoon of live stand-up.
