The People's Comedy - Stand-Up In Brixton

A stand-up comedy evening in Brixton, south London, staged at Club Silly, with live routines delivered directly to the audience.

The People's Comedy is a stand-up comedy show in Brixton, south London, presented at Club Silly. In stand-up, a comedian talks directly to the audience, building material from observation, storytelling and wordplay, and this production is built around that format.

Because it is a comedy evening rather than a play or a dance piece, the emphasis falls on the performers'delivery and timing, not on scenery or a plot. Each act is a self-contained sequence of routines performed from the stage, which makes the evening easy to follow without any prior knowledge of the performers.

Club Silly is a London venue that also hosts concerts. Booking suits anyone looking for a live comedy night out in Brixton, in a format where the audience's reaction shapes the performance as much as the material itself.
