About — The artist
Chanel Beads is the musical project of American artist Shane Lavers, based in New York and signed to Jagjaguwar. Lavers works closely with singer Maya McGrory, who also records under the name Colle, and with experimental violinist Zachary Paul.
The project's first album, Your Day Will Come, was released in April 2024 and received positive reviews. A second album, deliberately given the same title, Your Day Will Come, came out in June 2026.
