Overview

A cookery class in Florence, in a school housed in a medieval tower, where you learn to make fresh pasta in three shapes with three Tuscan sauces, with Tuscan wine included.

In the class, you learn to make fresh pasta, following every step with the instructors beside you. During the experience you prepare three shapes: ravioli, tortellini and tagliatelle. While the pasta takes shape, you cook three matching sauces at the same time: butter and sage, pomarola and a traditional Tuscan ragù with an ancient recipe.

All the equipment is provided by the school, so there is no need to bring anything. Tuscan wine is included during the experience, with an unlimited wine option. At the end, you eat everything you have prepared.

The school is located in a 13th-century tower, a short walk from Brunelleschi's Dome. The tower belonged to the family of Dante Alighieri's wife, which ties the place to the poet's history in the city. The experience is aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to make fresh pasta in a historic setting in the centre of Florence.
