Allison Russell: In The Hour of Chaos Tour

Allison Russell presents her In The Hour of Chaos tour at Irving Plaza in New York, with Autumn Nicholas on the same bill. The concert is a pop, rock and indie evening.

Allison Russell is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who came to wide attention as a founding member of the Canadian roots group Birds of Chicago's circle and of the Po'Girl and Carolina Chocolate Drops lineage before launching a solo career. The tour takes its name from her solo project and brings her songs, which draw on folk, soul and rock, to a New York stage.

Autumn Nicholas appears as the other artist on the bill. The evening is built around the songs of the headline act, so the program will feel like a solo songwriter's show rather than a festival-style lineup.

Irving Plaza is a concert venue in New York that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The night suits listeners who follow indie and rock songwriting and want to hear Russell's recent material in a club setting.
