Brooklyn Graffiti Workshop

A hands-on workshop at a Brooklyn art studio in Bushwick where participants create their own graffiti piece with the help of a New York graffiti artist. Open to all ages and talent levels.

This workshop introduces the basics of aerosol art, from fill-ins to more elaborate pieces. Participants work on a graffiti project of their own, guided by an artist who practices the craft in New York, and leave with the piece they have made.

The session takes place at the studio in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. The organizers describe the setting as built around creative thinking and a welcoming environment, and the format is designed for participants of all ages and skill levels, so no prior experience is required.

The workshop suits families, curious visitors and anyone who wants to understand graffiti as a craft rather than only as street art seen from a distance. It is a practical activity: you come to draw, and the time is spent on technique and on your own work.
