Chicago Murder Mystery 2: Crime on Date Night!

An outdoor murder mystery game in Chicago, played on your own phone through the Questo app. Players walk a set route and solve the case by questioning suspects and working through puzzles.

Chicago Murder Mystery 2: Crime on Date Night! is the sequel to an outdoor detective game set in the city. Agent X has been drawn into a deadly speed dating investigation, and players take on the case directly on their phones through the Questo app.

The game follows a walking route of roughly 2.5 kilometers, or 1.5 miles, starting at 2701 N Lakewood Ave. Along the way, players interrogate suspects, solve interactive puzzles and uncover hidden clues, deciding whom to trust before the case is closed. The game is offered in English and takes place rain or shine, so weather does not change the route.

Because it is played on foot with a phone, the outing suits visitors who want to explore the city at their own pace, as well as couples or groups of friends looking for a shared puzzle. The starting point is a leisure venue at 2701 N Lakewood Ave. This is a self-guided game, not a dinner or boarding outing.
