Crush 40: Speed Of Sound Unplugged

An unplugged concert by Crush 40, the American-Japanese hard rock band, at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles. The show is titled Speed of Sound Unplugged.

Crush 40 is an American-Japanese hard rock band formed in San Francisco in 1998, playing hard rock and pop rock with Japanese rock influences. The group released its first album, Thrill of the Feel, in 2000 on the Wave Master label.

The evening is framed as Speed of Sound Unplugged, so the title itself sets the format: the band's music presented in an unplugged performance. The musical identity stays rooted in hard rock and pop rock, with the Japanese rock influences that run through the group's work.

The Regent Theater hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles, and this performance takes place there. Listeners who follow hard rock and pop rock with Japanese rock influences are the natural audience for an unplugged set from the band.
