Overview

Daryl Davis is an American blues pianist and singer who has spent decades performing and recording roots music. Davis has played alongside Chuck Berry and wrote Klan-Destine Relationships (2014), a book about conversations with members of the Ku Klux Klan that inspired the documentary Accidental Courtesy (2016).
Thanks For The Memories 2026 places Davis at the center of a program drawing on blues, country and folk. Davis's piano playing draws on boogie-woogie, a keyboard style rooted in early twentieth-century American blues.
