DOM FLEMONS Returns to FITZGERALDS Historic Nightclub

A blues, country and folk concert by Dom Flemons at Fitzgeralds Nightclub in Berwyn, a return engagement at a venue presented as a historic nightclub.

Dom Flemons is an American musician who came to wide attention as a founding member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, a string band from North Carolina that revived old-time and Piedmont music. After leaving the group, Flemons built a solo career across blues, country and folk, drawing on early African American song traditions.

Flemons is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, banjo and harmonica, and performs with the bones, a traditional rhythm instrument. The music combines pre-war blues, string band repertoire and folk songwriting.

Fitzgeralds Nightclub in Berwyn hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners interested in roots music, from Piedmont blues to country and folk, performed by an artist with a string band background.
