Big Band & BBQ: CHICAGO GRANDSTAND

A big band jazz evening by Chicago Grandstand, paired with barbecue, at Fitzgeralds Nightclub in Berwyn. The event sits in the jazz listings of the western suburbs.

Chicago Grandstand is a jazz act, and this evening's title, Big Band & BBQ, pairs big band jazz with barbecue. Listeners who enjoy large ensembles and horn-driven jazz will find the format built around that sound, with the meal as a companion to the music.

Fitzgeralds Nightclub hosts concerts and shows in Berwyn, a suburb directly west of Chicago. The club's programming makes it a local destination for live music, so the night suits jazz fans who prefer to stay in the western suburbs rather than travel downtown.

The title defines the outing: a big band jazz program combined with barbecue, making it a fit for anyone who wants live music and a meal in the same visit.
